Descripción

Colorless, noxious, highly flammable, poisonous gas, a combination of phosphorous and hydrogen. While it has been employed as a fast-acting, inexpensive fumigant which leaves no residue, health hazards associated with phosphine, as well as the compound's capacity to damage such materials as leather, feathers, and fur, have restricted its use.
