Descripción
Paper, typically handmade, manufactured by casting the pulp onto a woven screen made from wire mesh or fabric. When examined in transmitted light, wove paper shows a characteristic weave impression from the screen pattern. It is distinguished from "laid paper," which shows a pattern of thick and thin transucent lines that have been transmitted from a wire screen used in manufacture.
