Descripción

Wood of the species Acer palmatum, native to Japan. It has a creamy white sapwood that is not sharply defined from the heartwood, but it can however, have a reddish tinge. It is used in the manufacture of furniture, paneling, flooring for bowling alleys, dance halls, and warehouses, and for decorative veneer.
