Descripción

Small wheels used to indent or perforate surfaces such as paper, pottery, or metal plates for printmaking. Use if this term encompasses tools with revolving heads of hardened steel on which a dotted, lined, or irregular pattern is incised; used in intaglio processes, especially mezzotint, and other objects such as short lengths of fiber or wood rolled into wet clay to create decorative motifs.
