Descripción
Two-handed Scottish broadswords with a long, heavy double-edged blade, long diamond-section quillons angling toward the blade, and a tubular leather-covered hilt with a round pommel; they were used by Scottish Highlanders and mercenaries from the 15th to the 17th century. Use also for the one-handed Scottish broadswords with basket hilts in use in the British Army since the early 18th century.
