Descripción
Refers to a bobbin-made lace that is characerized by simple geometric patterns and relatively coarse designs. It typically made by peasants in many European countries; it is noted as one of the mainstays of the lace makers of the Austrian Tirol and as the type of lace on which apprentices generally begin learning lace-making.
