Descripción
Refers to the trend in American interior design of the late 1960's, the term coined by Progressive Architecture magazine. The style is characterized by large, over-articulated design elements and the use of transparent, reflective, or synthetic materials often combined to achieve tromp l'oeil effects. During the 1970's, the term was extended to include certain trends in Post-Modern architecture.
