Descripción

Refers to the largest denomination and principal body of the Mormon religion. By the late 20th century it had more than 9,700,000 members. Its headquarters are in Salt Lake City, Utah. An important leader of this denomination was Brigham Young (1801-1877), who led the trek to Utah in 1847, founding Salt Lake City.
