Descripción

Refers to a process of creating colors by using mixtures of colored light. Such color from light is perceived in the eye due to emission rather than by reflection, which is the method by which color in pigment is perceived in a subtractive mixture. An additive color system refers to light emitted from a source, typically comprising the additive primaries of red, green, and blue light, which are used to produce the other colors, as laid out in the RGB color model. Combining one of these additive primary colors with equal amounts of another primary creates the additive secondary colors of cyan, magenta, and yellow. The luminosity of each color may be varied to create the full gamut of colors. Combining all three primary additive colors in equal intensities produces white light.
