Hydraulic engineering

Branch of civil engineering discipline dealing with the design and production of systems, equipment, and structures that either control, transport, or generate power from water or other fluids or that derive some or all of their power from the flow of water, such as hydraulic machinery, sewage disposal plants, waterworks, dams, pipelines, and hydroelectric power plants.
