Visual works made primarily of felt, which is a dense textile constructed usually of wool and fur fibers that are held together by heat, moisture, and pressure without weaving or spinning. The term is usually reserved for artistic or decorative works having felt as the medium and support (if any); clothing made of felt is not called "felt work."
