Descripción

Bands, usually of gold or silver, worn in the manner of a wedding ring by some orders of nuns in the Roman Catholic and certain other faiths, signifying the nun's fidelity and betrothal to the Church and to God. The ring may be given when the nun professes vows at her first profession or at her final profession of vows.
