Descripción

Breed of dog that is large, powerfully built, with a massive head and drooping ears, standing a minimum of 25 inches (63.5 cm), and weighing up to 200 lbs (91 kg). Its coat is red-brown and white or brindle and white and may be either short and dense or medium-long. They are bred as pathfinders and rescue dogs at the hospice founded by St. Bernard of Montjoux in Great St. Bernard Pass in the Pennine Alps.
