Descripción
Order containing two species in one family resembling true moles, having forefeet with triangular claws used for digging, leathery skin surrounding the blunt snout and stubby tail, poorly developed eyes that are virtually hidden in the long silky fur, and the habit of burrowing just beneath the soil surface.
