Descripción
Phylum of marine invertebrates that live a sedentary life in long, protective tubes on seafloors throughout the world and often possessing a beard-like mass of feather-like tentacles at the anterior end. An intestine, which forms in embryos, disappears as development progresses; they are the only multicellular animals that have neither mouth nor anus.
